Chateau de Pomes are a small scale producer, known for a wonderful succulent dried fruit flavour in their spirits. The soil of their Domaine is rich in clay, iron and limestone, creating an extremely intensely flavoured grape, which is represented in the final product. Generally, Chateau de Pomes uses a blend of grapes, mostly Ugni-Blanc and Colombard, to create an excellently balanced Armagnac. This marvelous bottling has rested in the Chateau’s wine cellars in 400 litre French oak casks for a full 20 years, creating a strong depth of flavour. Truly a peerless bottling, definitely one for all Armagnac fans to try.
