A single grain whisky from Scotland’s largest distillery, Cameronbridge – a distillery which has operated since 1824. The distillery plays a crucial role in the production of blended whiskies like Johnnie Walker, J & B, VAT 69, and Bells, while also supplying spirit to be used in gin, vodka, and more.
Grain whisky has already had a bit of a stigma surrounding it, though it has improved greatly in recent years due to an increased number of independent bottlings showcasing many of these rarely seen distilleries, often at high ages. This whisky, however, is not of a particularly impressive age, but does however provide a good, inexpensive entry to the fascinating world of grain whiskies.
