A tasty white Dominican rum from the famous Brugal company.

This rum is made with molasses sourced from within the Dominican Republic itself, and distilled in column stills. The spirit is diluted using pure, fresh water from the Puerto Plata springs.

Unlike many white rums, this bottling has cask aged for between 3 to 5 years in former Bourbon American oak casks with a medium toast, producing a smoother, more rounded spirit. Indeed, this rum is aged for the same amount of time as Brugal Añejo. The Brugal warehouses are positioned north to south to ensure that the casks experience the full intensity of the Dominican sun.

Unlike Brugal Añejo, this rum is filtered three times, removing colour and producing a purer spirit.

The final result is a fresh, vibrant white rum with notes of milky coffee, cocoa butter, vanilla, powdered sugar, lime rind, and coconut.

A surprisingly complex white rum, meticulously produced, this bottling would provide a high quality base to any rum cocktail.
