Borgoe is produced the Suriname Alcoholic Beverages N.V. in Suriname, who have only been distilling spirits since the mid-1980’s. Their rum is distilled using a three-column still, then aged in traditional, American oak ex-bourbon barrels. According to the Caribbean standards which they follow, no flavouring or artificial colouring is added to their rum, making their rum pure and unadulterated. This expression was aged for a minimum of 8 years.
