A delightful Italian espresso liqueur, first produced in 1860 by the titular Ugo Borghetti. This liqueur is made with high quality coffee Arabica and Robusta beans sourced from around the world.
According to many bartenders and those in the know, this coffee liqueur is a bit of a cut above the competition. It really offers a taste of espresso, with a strong, bittersweet and velvety coffee character and a touch of bitter dark chocolate.
The liqueur was first served to customers to celebrate the opening of a railway link between the Italian towns of Ancona and Pescara. It’s been a hit ever since.
Beautiful in an Espresso Martini.
