R & B Distiller’s is one of Scotland’s newest distilleries, and as such they have yet to have a product reach the 3-year limit at which it may be labeled as whisky. Besides their aptly named “Raasay While We Wait”, they’ve also released another interesting drop, called “Borders”.

Borders is a highly unusual whisky, as it is the only Scotch single grain whisky to be distilled from 50% wheat and 50% malted barley. The Highland distillery at which this is distilled is undisclosed.
