A cracking dram from cult malt Benrinnes, this is one of the stars of Diageo’s Flora & Fauna range.

Produced back when Benrinnes employed partial triple distillation (a practice stopped in 2007), the effect is to give the spirit weight and body. This bottling has been matured largely in European oak.

This bottling serves up notes of slightly creamy marshmallow, vanilla, toffee, biscuity malt, barley sugar, some plums, a little allspice, sherry and the faintest whiff of peat smoke.
