An excellent German Vermouth, producing using wines from South Baden, and fortified with fruit liqueurs from the Black Forest – something the region is famous form.

Belsazar was first launched in 2013, and in 2018 its popularity warranted a takeover from drinks giants Diageo.

Produced using local herbs, a mix of spices and wormwood, over 20 botanicals are used in total. These are infused in stoneware vessels.

The final result is a spicy, sweet vermouth with heavy servings of red fruit, jammy berries, nutmeg, cloves, cinnamon, liquorice and orange peel.

A high quality vermouth, that makes an excellent Manhattan.
