One of the very best blended whiskies around, this brand has enjoyed worldwide success, particularly in South America. It was also one of the first blended whiskies to be readily available in Southern Europe, where it is often served as a highball. The unique flavour of this blend is created through the marrying of over 50 malt whisky, with the greatest constituent’s being Miltonduff and Glenburgie, two excellent malt whiskies in their own right. The nose is rich with crystallised sugar notes, Scottish tablet and a little woodsmoke. The palate is sweet, with delicious barley wine flavours and highlights of baked bread, honey. A touch of peat smoke rounds off the finish.
