A cracking unaged Cachaça from a top quality, family-owned producer.

Avuá was founded by two American businessmen, who had encountered high quality Cachaça and wanted to bring it to the world. Established back in 1923, the source for this spirit is a small town a little way north of Rio de Janeiro.

The characterful spirit is distilled from the first pressing of the fermented sugar cane juice.

The final product? A delicious Agricole-like Cachaça that offers notes of dried bananas, fresh grassy cane, nutmeg, lime rind, brown sugar, pineapple juice and alongside a slightly vegetal edge.

Bottled at 42% ABV for a little more body and depth, this is a superb option for cocktails.
