A top notch Aultmore bottling from Dewar’s Exceptional Cask Series.

This particular bottling was a vatting of three different sherry casks, including one first fill and two second fill Oloroso casks. The Speyside dram was aged for 11 years, before being bottled at 46% ABV and without chill filtration.

The result is a fruity, thick, delicious Speyside dram, that delivers notes of stewed dried fruits, chocolate, plums, figs, prunes, vanilla, pine, orange rind, cloves, dark oak, coffee, cinnamon, floral honey, tobacco leaf, stewed apple and fresh malty bread.

A cracking whisky that will please fans of well-sherried drams.
