The classic German brandy, this company was founded in 1892 by Hugo Asbach, who learnt distilling in Franche, and brought his knowledge back to establish the Asbach distillery.

Made with distillations of 25 different wines gathered from around Europe, the brandy has been aged for three years in Limousin oak casks.

This bottling offers up flavours of dry oak, cinnamon, nutmeg, grapes, dried fruits, brown sugar, sultanas and toffee.

Servicemen from American and Britain developed a taste for this brandy following their time in Germany during World War II. This has led to the brandy’s enduring popularity beyond its German borders.
