A superb, well aged Ardmore bottling from indie bottler extraordinaires, Gordon and MacPhail. This whisky forms a part of their peerless Connoisseurs Choice series.

Aged in a single refill Bourbon barrel, the spirit was distilled in 1990, and bottled on the 7th of September 2018, having been matured for no less than 27 years.

The result is a luscious, smoky dram that delivers notes of elegant peat smoke, grilled pineapple, ripe bananas, cinnamon, milk chocolate, charred oak, vanilla, nutmeg, sweet melon, salted caramel and heather honey.

The bottling is presented at a warming cask strength of 52.2% ABV, and without chill filtration or colouration, ensuring an intense drinking experience.

A perfect example of Ardmore’s peaty Highland style. Only 179 bottles were produced.
