Added to anCnoc’s growing range of peaty expressions in 2015, the Rascan is named after a traditional, peat-cutting tool. Said to be matured in American ex-bourbon casks for nearly a decade, and peated 11.1ppm, this single malt whisky exhibits plenty of the classic, fragrant and fruity anCnoc profile but now with a healthy dose of light smokiness. A very well executed combination, once again.
