Already the biggest name in aromatic cocktail bitters, Angostura have turned their many talents to producing a traditional Italian-style bitter aperitif.

This bottling was originally introduced in July 2014, to celebrate the 190th anniversary of the company’s foundation.

The Amaro is made using some of the same processes and botanicals that go into Angostura’s iconic bitters.

Amaro di Angostura serves up notes of toasty cinnamon, dark chocolate, cola cubes, liquorice, dried pineapple, mango, pepper, rum-like spices and intense all spice.

Extremely similar to the never-to-be-mistaken Angostura bitters, this is a high quality Amaro that would work very well in cocktails, or could be enjoyed simply over ice.
