A beautifully designed Spanish gin.

The spirit itself is made with a base of grain, is triple distilled, and is said to have been distilled ‘by the light of the full moon’.

The base spirit is flavoured with 21 different botanicals, including orange and lemon peel, rose petals, samphire, fennel, thyme and mint, and most notable of all, the Muscat grape.

The end result is a herbaceous gin, with notes of fragrant flowers, citrus rind, sweet orchard fruits and grapes, some spicy juniper, slightly salty samphire and aromatic green herbs.

Alkkemist is an extremely complex gin, but nevertheless, it’s also a great all-rounder that works in gin cocktails of all varieties.
