A special limited edition whisky from Highland distillery Aberfeldy.

This whisky has been matured for 15 years in a combination of refill Bourbon and recharred casks, before being finished for a period in casks that previously held France’s famous Pomerol red wine.

The result is an Aberfeldy with notes of robust, intense cereal notes, accompanied by flavours of vanilla, dark honey, cherries, plums, dark chocolate, oak, gentle cinnamon spice and red grapes.

Bottled at the higher proof of 43% ABV for a little extra warmth and body, this is a high quality finished whisky with a lovely fruity character.
