Old Perth, Morrison and Mackay’s series of blends, marks a resurrection of a historic blend created by Peter Thomson in the early 1900’s, which included Islay, Highland and Speyside malts, alongside a little North British grain spirit.

The whisky also pays homage to the Scottish town of Perth, traditionally associated with the blending industry.

A blended malt, Release #6 offers up flavours of vanilla, cakes, toasted nuts, berries, grassy malt, orchard fruits, chocolate, milky coffee, earthy spice, faint peat and powerful malty biscuits.

Bottled at the slightly higher proof of 43% ABV, this allows the flavours a little more intensity, and the palate a little more body.
