“Mosstowie” was the name of a whisky distilled in two “Lomond stills” at the Mltonduff distillery between 1964 and 1981. This 34 year old single malt was distilled on the 6th of February, 1979, and then laid to rest in bourbon barrel #1355. It was bottled by independent bottler, The Ultimate Whisky Company, on the 4th of June, 2013, producing an outturn of 185 bottles, all at cask strength, 51.5% ABV, with no chill-filtration or colouring.
