Another release in the Warrior series from Highland Park, named Einar after a successful Viking, clearly identifiable by his iconic, massive axe (also depicted on the label). Comprised of a generous amount of European oak sherry casks but still mostly from American oak casks, this whisky has a lot of light notes of pineapple, citrus, subtle spices, and vanilla that you would come to expect from the American oak casks, but you also clearly notice the influence of the European oak casks with notes of dried orange peel. This one liter bottling will give you plenty of time to explore the wonderfulness of this malt.
