Another superb Glenfiddich forming part of their Cask Collection, this was first released for the travel retail market. The Cask Collection aims to show off the effects of Glenfiddich’s Solera Vat.

This whisky uses spirits matured in former Bourbon and red wine casks, alongside some European oak casks. These were selected by Glenfiddich’s Malt Master Brian Kinsman. The different casks were then married together in the Solera Vat, producing a lovely consistency of flavour.

Drinkers should expect lots of delicious vanilla and fruit flavours, with some bright orchard fruit and citrus notes, and tasty touches of oak.

A cracking Glenfiddich with a bit more complexity than might be expected. Great value in this larger format too!
